Who are The Gift of Cake?
We wanted to provide a online cake delivery service in the UK, where you could include a personalised message and send a cake by post.
But, it’s not that easy to send a cake in the post. So we’ve invested time, money and hard work to provide a great solution for you.
We’re Adam and Ellie, a small family-run business based in Kingsteignton on the beautiful South Devon coast. We’re here to help you out with all your cake gifting needs.

From a Triple Chocolate Paradise Cake to a Celestial Coffee and Walnut Cake and a Heavenly Lemon Drizzle Cake, there’s something here for everyone.
Each cake is handmade in our bakery in Devon, Truly Treats. All cakes are 6.5 inch (165mm) diameter and serve 8 – 10 slices. Our cakes are all made from scratch: we don’t use any commercial pre-made mixes. We’re very picky about ingredients and won’t compromise on quality. Which means locally sourced free-range eggs, British milk, cream and sugar, proper old-fashioned butter, and finest Belgian chocolate.
No added preservatives, artificial colours or artificial flavours are added to any of our cakes.

Online cake delivery with optional gift wrapping
Your cake can be delivered gift-wrapped in a beautiful tin. The tins are high quality, British made from lacquered steel with a choice of three colours. The tin helps to protect the cake during transit and keeps the cake lovely and fresh. They also makes a lovely keepsake; providing years of use long after the cake has been eaten.
Then, we wrap the tin in specially printed tissue paper and seal it with a gold ribbon and bow. At this stage your personalised message card is enclosed in a gold envelope and added to the package.
Following this, the whole package is presented in a beautiful white gift box which is padded and extra-strong, for delivery by the courier.
