We believe in giving something back to the community. Our designated charity is Dorothy House Hospice (registered charity no. 275745).
In the Bradford-on-Avon community where we are based, this hospice provides compassionate care and support for people with a life-limiting illness, focusing on quality of life, so patients can live well and die well. The hospice is set in the beautiful Limpley Stoke valley in Wiltshire. It gives care and support to patients and their families in the Bath area and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset, whenever they need it; at home, in the hospice, or at one of their outreach centres. They are staffed by a wonderful group of people – doctors and nurses, but also dozens of volunteers and helpers who give their time for free to help others.
Dorothy House need to raise over £7,000 a day to keep going and the team at The Gift of Cake want to help. For every cake we sell we donate 25p to Dorothy House.
